Bird Families of the World

Northern Black Korhaan

From Wikipedia

Bustards (18 species), including floricans (2 species) and korhaans (6 species), are large, terrestrial birds living mainly in dry grassland areas and on the steppes of the Old World. They range in length from 40 to 150 cm (16 to 59 in). They make up the family Otididae. Bustards are omnivorous and opportunistic, eating leaves, buds, seeds, fruit, small vertebrates, and invertebrates.

There are around 332 different species in this group of which I have photographed so far 124 different ones. In case of differences between male and female birds I have added both if available

Below you will find the genus in alphabetic order.
