Maguari Stork

Storks are heavy wading birds living in a variety of habitats. In sub-Saharan Africa, they spend much of their time on the open savanna, contending for scraps at big-game kills or snapping up the victims of grassland fires; elsewhere, they are much more tied to water.

The family is Podicipedidae.

There are 19 species placed in 6 genera.

Mycteria with 4 species
