Bird Families of the World

White-browed Scimitar Babbler

Tree Babblers occupy all kinds of Asian forests, but only a few spend much time on the ground. Plumages are dominated by black and grey or rich brown, most species with liberal patterning in spots and streaks. The scimitar babblers have long, decurved, yellow bills, and the wren-babblers have perky tail-up postures.

The family is Timaliidae

There are 52 species placed in 10 genera.

So far I have photographed 9 different species.
