Bird Families of the World

Yellow Oriole

Oropendolas, Orioles, Blackbird make up a family, of small- to medium-sized, often colorful, New World passerine birds. Most species have black as a predominant plumage color, often enlivened by yellow, orange, or red. The species in the family vary widely in size, shape, behavior, and coloration.

The family is Icteridae

There are 105 species placed in 30 genera.

So far I have photographed 32 different species.

See below the genera of which I photographed at least two specie. At the end, I have placed "Various genera".  Here you will find a collection of genera with only one species photographed. To make it easier you can find the genus name combined with the species name (visible when displaying the photograph)
